City Lights 03:37
When I got here Never thought I'd stay Now it's time On my way again There's little light The city sleeps under my shoes I've said it all, not too much Things I'm glad I couldn't catch City lights A night that's dragged forever When I say that No regrets When I do that No regrets When I say that Dance with me When I do that Oh it's me Silly words Does it matter though? Try again Six times in a row Playing you Like a fiddle here we go I tried so hard, had some fun All the damage done City lights A night that's dragged forever City lights Mistakes: they stay forever City lights They follow me wherever City lights When I say that No regrets When I do that No regrets When I say that Dance with me When I do that Yes it's me

I'm a fabler With some stories to tell I'm a seeker I seek someone to understand I'm a weak one Because I need to be heard What are you doing to tonight? What have you planned for the night? What are you doing tonight? What have you planned for tonight? I'm a player I'm in need of a game I'll bring some secrets Do you want to play? What are you doing to tonight? What have you planned for the night? What are you doing tonight? What have you planned for tonight?

Start Today 03:26
Oh dear, here comes another day And all I want is just to stay in bedroom I wonder if you can relate How years go by and yet nothing changes So it's time to get up and start today Stop letting the time go down the drain It's time to get up and start today Open the windows, start the day Oh dear here comes another day And all I want is just to lay in bed and stay Aware of what could have been done Instead of doing something now for a change so It's time to get up and start today Stop letting the time go down the drain It's time to get up and start today Open the window, start to day

Love Songs 03:14
Boy likes girl so much, so much He texts her days, he texts her nights It takes him long to realize That things were short from being nice Love songs, they don't write themselves It is experience what they require Boy loved girl, he felt no pain He ran to a cliff through pouring rain His lungs caught fire, he fell sick While the girl was sleeping with another prick Love songs, they don't write themselves It is experience what they require Boy liked girl so bad, so bad He always did what this girl said He tried to get so close, too close The bubble bursted, all was lost Love songs, they don't write themselves It is experience what they require

All these different people With a grin on their face they're looking so sad All these different faces The smile we bear on the inside is scared to get out It's never too late to stop pretending It's never too late to do what you want It's never too late to stop pretending You're never too old to be who you are All these different people With a grin in their face they're looking so sad All these different faces The smile we bear on the inside is scared to get out All these different stories You do want to know that some are a lie All these different people They're just like you they're scared to get out It's never too late to stop pretending It's never too late to do what you want It's never too late to stop pretending You're never too old to be who you are

about

As a bear I have always wanted to record my primal screams and wood banging in the forest with a microphone to later enhance the recordings with a computer. There's been much talking and very little doing, and now, it's finally time to get something done.

Back in the 80's people were able to record demo tapes at home or at a small studio space and push them to labels. One of my faves has to be Depeche Mode's first ever demo tape where you can hear the first ever take on "Ice Machine", it's an inspiring recording, but that's beyond the point.

The point is that today, the year is 2016, and people are able to record at home using laptop computers and very well programmed software that can sound pretty well. As Graham Cochrane very well explains it, it's a recording revolution, it's the best time to do music.

And it is in part due to people like mister Cochrane, Dave Pensado, Andy Vax, and all the people who care to share the knowledge that this demo tape exists.

Another great part is the people who inspire other people: Richie Giese (Social Repose), David Brown (You And What Army / Boyinaband), William Doyle (East India Youth) among many many many many other successful artists who show that dedication and hard work can make anything possible. In fact it is form them that I have embraced the concept of a one-piece band for this music. If you love something, do it.

Last but not least friendship is the most important driver of it all. If it hadn't been for my very good friends I met during my school years and especially at university this would be completely meaningless, and meaning is, after all, what we seek in this life.

I hope you like this. I love you.
Thank you for participating.
